Background in doing: 1. Core Engineering - Allocates resources, parameters to network elements handled - Prepares/assists in preparing work plans (depending on gravity of scope) for the Core Network IGF a. Capacity Planning – TDM, VOIP – International b. Core Systems Dimensioning – Switch NGN, POI, Numbering and IP Plan c. Core Integration – International FA and other Carrier 2. Core Traffic Routing and Optimization a. Prepares various management reports and ad-hoc reports. b. Analyze traffic measurements, available resources, e.g. numbering plans, and recommends and executes traffic re-routing 3. Prepares and finalizes Engineering Work Plans (EWP), depending on complexity, for the Core Network IGF which may include interconnection, routing, network trials by: a. Performing studies on signaling and interconnecting networks to ensure compatibility b. Reviewing existing network setup and prepares the basic expansion plans including potential risk c. Leading the discussion with the different internal groups to get technical details required in the EWPs 4. Prepares and reviews Methods of Procedures (MOP) and strictly adheres to and administers change management procedures 5. Updates the repository of system documentation and switch office data. 6. Coordinates with Internal Group for Project Planning, Engineering, Implementation, NE Turnover, for Equipment Procurement including Payment. 7. Coordinates with External Partner Vendor for Network Element Technical Engineering, Dimensioning Activities, BOM during procurement, training.
